About
Movement in Christ is the creative movement and dance ministry of Charisword Gospel Ministry. We use dance, liturgical dance, drama, skit and other forms of movement to interpret songs, illustrate messages, and expressive movement to communicate biblical truths and enhance worship experiences. Our values are creativity, excellence, and spiritual impact.
Department Vision
To minister the Word of God through drama, skit, dance and creative movement, inspiring worship, joy, and spiritual transformation in the lives of people/ the body of Christ. Also, to use our bodies as instruments of worship to express the gospel, edify the body of Christ, and minister healing and joy to the world/ body of Christ.
Meeting Schedule
Main Rehearsal: Every Saturday 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Auditorium)
Pre-Ministration Prayer: 30 minutes before every service we are scheduled to minister
Weekly Online Prayers & Audio Review: Every Saturday 8:00 pm – 9: 00 pm
Special rehearsals are scheduled ahead of major ministrations or conferences
How to Join
Do you have a passion for dance and a desire to minister to the Lord and His people? We welcome dancers of all levels who carry a heart of worship! We welcome those who feel called to expressive worship through movement.
- 1. Contacting the department head to express interest then Interview with the Head or Assistant Head of Protocol
- 2. A personal love for dance/worship and a commitment to use it for God’s glory.
- 3. Being an active member of Charisword Gospel Ministry.
- 4. Willing to commit to rehearsals and spiritual disciplines
- 5. Complete the Introductory Class of Charisword Gospel Ministry
- 6. Attending a 4-week probationary training period to learn foundational principles andbintegrate with the team.
